IMPORTANT: Please note that if you have submitted your application directly to DIS, for processing of your application, you will have to provide the case ID number of the payment made.

DIS will not be able to process your application in case you do not provide the above said information.

DENMARK INTRODUCES BIOMETRIC RESIDENCE CARDS 20 MAY 2012

From 20 May 2012 residence cards must contain digital photos, fingerprints and signatures. In this way the security against forgery and misuse of residence cards is strengthened.

When you come to the visa application centre to deliver a residence/ work permit application, you will need to have your biometric data recorded.

From the 21 May 2012 only Visa Center in Kiev will accept Residence and Work permits applications.
From 01 August 2013, Visa Application Centre is L’viv, Odessa, Donetsk, Kharkiv will accept Residence and Work Permit applications.
Every applicant who is submitting a residence permit application must attend the visa application centre in person.

NOTE: Applicants applying for AU PAIR and STUDY will have to come to Kiev VAC with prior appointment for submission of their application. Post submission, applicants will have to go to the Embassy of Denmark for their interview.

Children of less than 6 years need to attend, but are not require to have fingerprints or signature recorded, only a photograph.

Step 1
Prepare your application and supporting documents: Go to ‘All about your visas’ link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form, Valid passport (Please note that the passport cannot be older than 10 years and has to be valid for at least three months after your scheduled return) and more.

Step 2
Book an appointment to visit Visa Application Centre: To visit Visa Application Centre you need to Schedule Appointment You can book an appointment online or by calling the Call Centre. Details provided on this website to schedule an appointment.

Step 3
Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents.

Step 4
Pay applicable Fee: Submission Officer will advise you on total payable amount and guide you to the bank cashier where you need to pay in local currency (Hryvnia). Receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.
